About Us
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
After being laid off in Boston, Stephanie Cooper and WaiJe Coler decided that collecting unemployment checks wasn’t going to cut it anymore. In February 2009, Pink Slip Coffee was created with the growing number of unemployed workers in mind. The premise behind this idea was to create a group that offers the closeness of a local community and expertise across Boston. We hope to provide members with the feeling that they are not alone in such a difficult time and provide support in anyway that is needed.
Some ways Pink Slip Coffee can work for you:
- Networking + Making connections
- Career Advice
- Resume Help
- Offering and giving support to other members
- Getting ideas
- Staying motivated and positive
- Professional and personal references
- Sharing resources
So throw that alarm clock out the window and join us at the next meeting as we talk about life’s next moves and network along the way.
